New Beginnings

Hello Blog Family,

It is now approaching September. Oh to be a kid again. The feeling of starting a new school year. The new clothes, new supplies, and the hope of new friends. The "hope" comes from going to small school where you knew everyone. The joy that new people brought was grand. I guess that is why I like moving all the time. Haven't done that in almost 3 years. That is my personal record :) September does bring a new beginning this year. With the loss of my step dad back in March, my mom has decided (more like talked into by me) to move up here to be closer to us. She has been selling and packing in preparation. We start our long journey on Friday. A few days in Georgia and then out to Texas to round her up. I am excited and joyful for her to be closer to us, but I dread the drive. Thankfully my loving brother-in-law, Jeff, is willing to drive the rental truck pulling my mom's jeep behind it. Pray that God provide a safe path free of accidents and break downs. Eli will be so grateful to have a grandma close. I did not grow up close to my grandparents. Only saw them during vacation time that usually lasted only about one week a year. This little trip will also give Eli the opportunity to meet both of his great-grandmothers. I know both are looking forward to it. As is Jared and I. Thank you, Lord, for the family that you given to me. I love them all.
