So I know it's been awhile, but I wanted to get all the words in head written down.  So here it goes!!!
The 2012 Presidential Election:  There are many things I would like to say.  The most important thing is that I have put all my trust and faith in the Heavenly Father above.  He has a plan for this country and each individual in it.  I cannot see this plan and right now I do not understand this plan, but never-the-less, I have faith in Him and Him alone.  This country was founded on the principles of faith.  It's in everything that our fore fathers created.  Today's society has made it clear that they do not want God in their homes, schools, business, government, and marriage.  They have forced God out of their lives.  God listens.  My belief is that he has finally said okay.  This brings me great sadness.  Sadness to see so many people compromise values and morals just so they can be lazy and a burden to society.  They do not view themselves in this way, but they are.  There are the poor and helpless that need help.  But it is our responsibility, not the governments to care for them.  You cannot shun God when things are good and cry out when things are bad that it's his fault.  You have to praise God when it's good and you have to praise and trust Him when things aren't so good.  Life is full of ups and downs, good and bad, and peace and war.  It's your reaction to them to make you the person you are.
My other thought seeks answers from friends that have chosen to vote for a Godless man.  Friends that I know hold God close to their hearts and consist of morals and values.  I just want to know why you would vote for someone that supports the murder of children and defiles the sanctity of marriage.  You see, these two issues are the most important to me in any election of any government official.  While sin is sin and one is not greater than the other, the support of murder and homosexuality are two of the most important values I do not want in the person I vote for or to run my country.
With respect to abortion, children are the greatest gift from God no matter what!  No matter how they came to be.  Someone that uses abortion as a form of birth control has nothing but a black abyss inside them. They are empty.  There are a million married couples out there today that are trying to conceive a child.  I personally have a friend that has been trying to over 10 years.  10 years!!  I love her to death.  She would give anything to be a mother to a child.  If you find yourself with an unplanned pregnancy, then do right by that child and let someone who will love and support that child parent them.  Killing them is not the answer.  I feel sorry for anyone that will have to stand before God and defend their decision to kill innocent, defenseless children.
With respect to homosexuality, marriage is clearly define between a man and a woman.  God created Adam and from Adam's rib, He created Eve.  They were God's first love.  Being created in His image and then tasked with populating the Earth.  We have come a long way since then.  There are over 6 billion people on our planet.  Does this mean we can now (or ever have) turned away from this idea?  No.  Do I hate or discriminate against those have chosen this lifestyle?  No.  As a child of God, I love all His children.  My friends that have have chosen this lifestyle know how I feel about it, but they also know that I still care about them, love them, and pray for them just I did prior to their decision.  Again, sin is sin and not one is greater than the other.
So with all this being said, again, I put my trust and faith in the Heavenly Father above.  I will not compromise my values, morals, or integrity.  I will not be ashamed them.  I will not hide them.  Those that truly know me, know my heart.  If you agree with statements, great!  If you do not, I am open to having a rational, adult conversation into finding out why and how you support the things you do.  I will be honest in saying that I will most like not agree with you, but at least I will know what is in your heart.
